Carron's star bowlers heading for national finals

Star players from Carron’s local bowling club will in action in the Scottish National Bowls Championships, competing with Scotland’s best at this week's event at Northfield in Ayr.

The mens four from Carron and Carronshore bowling club - John Halcrow, Alexander Sinclair Jnr, Alistair Penn and Alexander Sinclair - will face Alloa East End in the first round on Thursday.
